Ternate haritasında ASDP Ternate-Babang Deniz taksi hattı

ASDP ferry from the unorganised (2017-2022) Bastiong ferry terminal. Too many ferries for the terminal and many delays.
There is twice a week a ferry to/from Babang. And on top of that is also sometimes a ferry on Wednesday from Ternate and Tuesday from Babang (but not all weeks, you'll need to get hold of the schedule for that month to find out)

Schedules departing from:
- Moti to Makian: Mon/Sat 2pm
- Makian to Kayoa: Mon/Sat 4pm
- Kayoa to Babang: Mon/Sat 6pm
- Kayoa to Makian: Sat/Mon 3am
- Makian to Moti: Sat/Mon 6am
- Moti to Ternate: Sat/Mon 8am

Payment in Ternate is now cashless (2022), but they still let you pay cash on the boat for now (Nov 2022). The cashless payment is complicated: you need to pay online via transfer (indonesian bank only) or via (indonesian) flashcard (BNI, BRI, Mandiri, ...) The latter you can buy and top up in any Indomaret/Alfamart. An alternative option is to go buy the ticket in the nearest Indomaret/Alfamart and you can pay cash there (at a premium of course). With the payment slip you can enter the port where this paper will be changed to a ticket, with which you can board the ferry.
